The Colby Trojans women’s wrestling program continues to make history in its inaugural season, debuting at No. 7 in the NJCAA’s first team rankings of the year Thursday. The top-10 ranking reflects a solid start for a first-year program competing at the national level.
The Colby Trojans women’s wrestling team returns to dual action on Thursday as the Trojans travel to Hastings for a competitive tri-dual featuring Hastings College and the University of Sioux Falls. Following the tri-dual, the Trojans will turn their attention to tournament action as they travel to the AU Women’s Eagle Open on Sunday (Dec. 14). The event is slated to feature 19 teams and will provide another valuable opportunity for Colby’s roster.
The Colby Community College women’s wrestling program hosted its first home events in program history over the weekend, competing in four duals at the Dust Bowl Duals and competing in the Dust Bowl Open.
