The Colby Community College cross country teams wrapped up their fall season Tuesday at the NJCAA Half Marathon Championships, turning in gutsy performances and closing out another strong year for the program. Men finish 13th overall.
Competing on their home course at Meadow Lake Golf Course, the Colby Community College cross country teams delivered strong performances at the 2025 NJCAA Region 6 Championships on Friday. The Trojan men earned a third-place team finish with 92 points, while the women battled to seventh overall with 171 points in a deep regional field against a stacked regional field featuring multiple nationally ranked programs.
The Colby CC cross country teams closed out the regular season with a strong showing at the FHSU Tiger Open on Saturday (Oct. 11), posting multiple personal and season-best performances against a deep field of NCAA and NAIA programs.
The Colby Community College men’s cross country team turned in a solid showing Friday at the Gans Creek Classic, highlighted by sophomores Jahpet Kiprono and Nadine McIntyre. Kiprono led the men to a ninth-place team finish in a field of 20, while McIntyre turned in a top-15 performance against a deep lineup of NCAA Division I and II programs.
