Colby Trojans volleyball is set to host a full slate of summer camps and competition opportunities for the 2026 season, designed to help athletes at the middle school and high school levels develop their skills in a competitive and supportive environment.
The 2026 camp offerings are built around improving core fundamentals, including passing, setting, hitting, blocking, defense, serving, and serve-receive, while also incorporating game-like situations and high-repetition training to help athletes grow their overall understanding of the game. The programs are open to middle school athletes in grades 5–8 and high school athletes in grades 9–12.
The summer schedule begins with Summer League, running from June 1 through July 6. The league costs $30 per player and is due by May 18, 2026. All games will be played at Colby High School, with checks made payable to the CCC Endowment Foundation.
Colby will also host a High School Summer Jamboree on June 20 for athletes in grades 9–12. Teams will compete in five guaranteed matches, with a registration fee of $300 per team and a $50 discount for each additional match. College dorm housing is available for $150 per team, with arrangements coordinated through Coach Carey Jones.
The camp portion of the summer begins with the Middle School Summer Camp (Grades 5–8) on July 7-8. The cost is $125 for overnight participants and $100 for commuters. This camp focuses on fundamental skill development, including passing, setting, serving, and serve-receive, while also introducing hitting and blocking techniques. Athletes will participate in fun, competitive drills and controlled game play designed to build confidence and understanding of the game.
The High School Summer Camp (Grades 9–12) will follow on July 9–10, with the same pricing of $125 for overnight and $100 for commuter athletes. This camp features more advanced training, including position-specific instruction, faster-paced drills, and a focus on strategy, systems, and court awareness. Athletes will refine all key skills while competing in high-level, game-like situations.
