Carrareto and Caputi Earn KJCCC Player of the Week Honors

COLBY, Kan. — The No. 11-ranked Colby Community College volleyball team celebrated a pair of standout performances as two Trojans earned KJCCC Player of the Week honors following dominant conference sweeps over Cloud County and Hutchinson.
Sophomore middle blocker Isadora Carrareto was named KJCCC D1 Volleyball Player of the Week after a strong showing across six sets. Carrareto totaled 19 kills (3.17 per set) on 26 swings while hitting an exceptional .692, highlighted by a remarkable .833 performance against Cloud County. She added six blocks and 22.5 points over the two matches, marking her first Player of the Week honor of the season.
Sophomore setter Amanda Caputi earned KJCCC D1 Volleyball Setter of the Week honors for her precise command of the Trojan offense. Across six sets, Caputi recorded 75 assists (12.5 per set), 13 digs, three blocks, and three service aces, while also contributing three kills against Cloud County. The honor marks her sixth Player of the Week award in eight weeks.
With Carrareto and Caputi leading the way, the Trojans have established themselves as one of the top teams in the KJCCC. Colby remains unbeaten in conference play and has won nine straight matches overall.
