The Colby Community College volleyball team continues to build on its strong start to the 2025 season. After opening the year ranked No. 3 in the NJCAA Division I Volleyball Preseason Poll, the Trojans now sit at No. 6 in the latest national rankings with a 6-2 record heading into conference play.

After opening the year ranked No. 3 in the NJCAA Division I Volleyball Preseason Poll, the Trojans now sit at No. 6 in the latest national rankings with a 6-2 record heading into conference play.
Colby's early schedule has featured some tough competition and the Trojans have shown they are once again a team to watch. Behind a mix of experienced returners and impact newcomers, CCC has already tallied six wins so far this season.
The program is coming off its historic 2024 campaign, which ended with a third-place finish at the NJCAA National Tournament, the highest postseason result in school history. That success has carried into 2025, as Colby looks to build momentum in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) action.
The Trojans will open league play tonight (Sept. 3) against Garden City at the Colby Event Center. Colby enters the matchup ranked No. 6 nationally and second among KJCCC teams, just one spot behind conference rival Barton, who sits at No. 5.
