Jeffery Sets Historic 400m Hurdles Mark, Named KJCCC Athlete of the Week
Colby’s Randieunna Jeffery has been honored as the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week following a historic performance in the 400-meter hurdles in Emporia this past weekend.
COLBY, Kan. – Colby's Randieunna Jeffery has been honored as the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week following a historic performance in the 400-meter hurdles in Emporia this past weekend.
Jeffery turned in one of the fastest times in program history, finishing fourth with a mark of 1:06.16, which stands as the second-fastest 400-meter hurdles time ever recorded by a Trojan. Her outstanding effort not only highlights her individual talent but also underscores her role as a key contributor to Colby's track and field success. This is the first time Jeffery has been awarded this, and second time this outdoor season a Colby women's athlete has been recognized.
