COLBY, Kan. — The Colby Community College softball program is thrilled to announce the return of its second annual Coed Slow Pitch Softball Tournament, scheduled for Saturday, (Sep. 13) at Colby City Field. This fun-filled, bracket-style competition will unite the community while raising crucial funds to support the Trojans' continued success.
Proceeds from the event will directly benefit team travel, equipment upgrades, student-athlete scholarships, and ongoing field renovations — investments that are essential as the program grows and continues to excel both on and off the field.
"We're looking forward to another great day of softball, community, and support," said Head Coach Jazmine Esparza. "This tournament is a fun way to get everyone involved while directly impacting the future of our program."
Team registration is open now for 10-12 player rosters at a cost of $200 per team. Games will follow coed, slow-pitch rules, and space is limited. Teams are encouraged to secure their spot early by scanning the event QR code or contacting Coach Esparza at jazmine.esparza@colbycc.edu.
