Six Trojans Earn All-KJCCC Honors for 2025 Softball Season
Colby Community College softball was recognized in the 2025 KJCCC Division I postseason awards, with six Trojans earning All-KJCCC Honorable Mention honors for their standout performances throughout the season.
Colby Community College softball was recognized in the 2025 KJCCC Division I postseason awards, with six Trojans earning All-KJCCC Honorable Mention honors for their standout performances throughout the season.
Paige Pierce was recognized as a utility player after a standout season in multiple roles. She played in 55 games and hit .350 in 143 at-bats, collecting 50 hits, including eight doubles, two triples, and six home runs. Pierce also stole 15 bases, totaled 80 bases overall, and finished with a .559 slugging percentage and a .430 on-base percentage. She ranked 16th in the KJCCC in RBIs.
Tess Polad, honored as an outfielder, played in 54 games and registered 164 plate appearances. She hit .381 with 59 hits, including eight doubles, seven triples, and six home runs. Polad posted a .639 slugging percentage, stole 18 bases, and totaled 99 bases on the season. Her seven triples ranked second in the KJCCC.
Sofia Valenti, recognized as an infielder, played in 53 games and hit .433 over 150 at-bats. She recorded 17 extra-base hits including 10 doubles and seven home runs while finishing with 96 total bases. Valenti also walked 19 times and slugged .640. She tied for 10th in the conference in RBIs, tied for 19th in home runs, and ranked 22nd in batting average.
Kinleigh Haskell earned her All-KJCCC honor as an infielder. The sophomore appeared in 34 games, tallying 72 at-bats with a .347 batting average. She posted a .611 slugging percentage, recorded nine extra-base hits, including five home runs, and drove in 21 runs. Haskell also crossed the plate 24 times in the year.
Katelyn Zukewich also earned her honor as a pitcher, finishing the season with a 2.66 ERA over 47.1 innings pitched. Her ERA was the second-best in the conference. The freshman appeared in 22 games, made three starts, and posted a 2–1 record. Zukewich struck out 41 batters while facing 221, finishing with a 1.48 WHIP, good for the ninth-best WHIP in the KJCCC.
Giovana Villalobos Carrillo earned All-KJCCC honors as a pitcher. She started 16 games in the circle, finishing with a 4–5 record. Over 306 batters faced, she struck out 59 for a 6.56 strikeouts-per-seven rate. She ended the season with a 5.00 ERA and a 1.57 WHIP, ranking 13th in ERA and eighth in strikeouts per seven innings in the conference.
