Colby Cross Country to host the Pioneer Marathon on April 26th

COLBY, Kan. - The Colby Community College Cross Country program will host the Pioneer Marathon sponsored by Hoover Lumber on April 26th at the Colby Community College Farm. This race will have a half marathon, 10k, and 5k events. This event is open to all levels, from walkers to beginners, intermediate, and experienced runners. Join Us for the Pioneer Marathon: A Celebration of Community and Endurance. 

This year, we're thrilled to offer a range of race distances to accommodate runners of all levels. Choose from a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, or the full Marathon. No matter which distance you select, you'll find an inspiring setting and a vibrant running community ready to welcome you with open arms.

9-10 AM - Bib Pickup

9:50 AM - Race Brief
10 AM - Race Start (Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K)

10:45 AM – 5K Awards 
11:15 AM – 10K Awards 
12:30 PM – Half Marathon Awards

2:30 PM – Full Marathon Awards
4 PM Cutoff Time

The races will begin at 10:00 AM, but we encourage you to arrive early. This lets you soak in the lively atmosphere, stretch your muscles, and meet fellow participants. The Pioneer Marathon isn't just about racing; it's about fostering connections and building friendships with like-minded individuals who share your passion for running.
