Sophomore slugger Isaiah Padilla has officially been named an NJCAA Second Team All-American today (June 12). The honor comes on the heels of Padilla being named the KJCCC West Division Most Valuable Player and earning First Team All-KJCCC recognition.
Padilla was nothing short of dominant in 2025, turning in one of the most complete offensive seasons in the nation. Across 49 games, the Trojans' offensive catalyst batted a .458 average, the top mark in the Jayhawk Conference and fourth-best in the NJCAA. He collected 77 hits in 168 at-bats, driving in 70 runs, tied for third-most in the conference. He also displayed elite power with 17 home runs, 16 doubles, and a triple on the season. His offensive explosion resulted in a massive .869 slugging percentage and a 1.421 OPS. The Denver native also demonstrated impressive plate discipline, drawing 12 walks and was hit by pitch 19 times, contributing to an impressive .552 on-base percentage.
Padilla's value went far beyond just raw numbers. He had a staggering 23 multi-hit games on the season, including an amazing performance where he went 4-for-5 with two home runs, two doubles, and five RBIs in a single game. He also logged 13 games with at least three RBIs and acted as the heart of the Trojans' lineup. Perhaps most impressive was his 19-game hitting streak from February 25 through April 6, where he had 32 hits along with 33 RBI in just the 19 game stretch.
This All-American nod is a testament not only to Padilla's production but to his leadership throughout the season. His offensive prowess helped elevate the Trojans to 31 wins, the most wins since the 2021-22 season. Full list of All-Americans will be included below.
