Colby Celebrates Academic Success with 164 Spring Honor Roll Selections
The Colby Community College Athletic Department continued its strong tradition of academic excellence during the Spring 2026 semester, as 164 student-athletes earned recognition on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
The Colby Community College Athletic Department continued its strong tradition of academic excellence during the Spring 2026 semester, as 164 student-athletes earned recognition on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
To qualify for the honor roll, student-athletes were required to achieve a 3.0 GPA or higher in non-remedial coursework while completing a minimum of 12 credit hours. The department posted an impressive overall GPA of 3.41, with 63 student-athletes earning a perfect 4.0 GPA.
The Colby Trojans Volleyball program led all teams with a department-best 3.87 GPA while producing eight student-athletes with perfect 4.0 marks. The Softball team followed closely with a 3.71 GPA and 10 student-athletes earning a 4.0. Women's Basketball also excelled in the classroom with a 3.69 GPA and eight perfect GPAs.
Several additional programs posted outstanding team performances academically, including Equestrian (3.63), Women's Cross Country (3.65), Women's Track and Field (3.60), and Men's Cross Country (3.51). Baseball led the department in total honor roll selections with 33 student-athletes recognized, while Volleyball and Women's Wrestling also had strong representation among the honorees.
The Athletic Director's Honor Roll highlights the continued commitment of Trojan student-athletes to excellence both in competition and in the classroom. The accomplishment reflects the hard work, discipline, and dedication shown across all athletic programs throughout the academic year.
